CINE / SEEN is a short film festival showcasing the talents of minority filmmakers from the Pacific Nothwest. We aim to amplify the talent of artists looking to shift culture and highlight the unique perspective and films of underrepresented artists. CINE / SEEN creates a space for artistic celebration for us and by us here in Oregon.
Actual Industries is a partner along with JOOP JOOP, Nocturnal Uniforms, OMPA and House of Gül organizing and supporting CINE / SEEN debuting in 2022 in Portland, Oregon. With additional funds, the goal is to reach out to more underrepresented communities throughout Oregon and make CINE / SEEN a mobile short film festival that also curates films from the local areas where the screenings take place.
