Mother of Color is the feature film debut of Mexican American filmmaker Dawn Jones Redstone. Mother of Color’s core crew and cast makeup featured mostly women, mostly people of color and about half identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. The result is a powerful set culture supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices.
